Application scope of KOT-series vacuum oil treatment equipment
It is suitable for degassing and filtering (under vacuum state) the oil immersed instrument transformers and oil immersed transformers up to 35KV – 1000KV and electric insulating oil (or silicon oil) for capacitors. |
Characteristics
1. It is equipped with a crude oil tank with adequate volume for storing crude oil, which has metering, maximum & minimum level controlling, sewage discharging and other functions.
2. Equipped with 2 sets vacuum degassing tanks (6 – 12tons), which is used for degassing the electric insulating oil under vacuum, the vacuum degassing tank has heating, insulation, maximum & minimum level controlling and other functions, there is equipped with Rashing ring inside the vacuum degassing tank to make sure the electric insulating oil can be degassed completely.
3. Equipped with degassed oil tank, which is used for storing the degassed electric insulating oil.
4. Used scientific treatment: mutual filtering (or single filtering).
5. Combined with the filtering function of vacuum oil filter, further increases the filtering efficiency.
6. Equipped with advanced and reliable vacuum system, heating system, measure & control system to make sure accurate and reliable controlling.
7. Equipped with reasonable and energy-saving pipelines, which can be connected with vacuum oil filling system, oil return system and crude oil system then combined together to be an integrated oil treatment system.

Process flow
1、Preparation phase:
Crude oil --- crude oil tank --- vacuum oil filter (or plate-frame oil filter) --- vacuum degassing tank (close the inlet valve when the vacuum degassing tank is full of oil).
2、Filtering phase:
Filtering mode (mutual filtering): vacuum degassing tank 1 --- filter (vacuum oil filter or other filter) --- vacuum degassing tank 2 --- circulated degassing between both vacuum degassing tanks till the sampling is accepted --- degassed oil tank.
3、Oil feeding:
Keep the temperature of degassed oil tank within 60±5℃, the degassed oil can be transported by oil pump to each oil filling ports after received the oil filling signal from control system.
4、Other requirements:
●The level meter in degassed oil tank can really show the quantity of oil in the tank.
●2. Automatic constant temperature, the heating system will control the temperature of oil in degassed oil tank within 60±5℃ automatically.
●3. The maximum & minimum level meter in each tank has alarm and protection functions.
●4. The vacuum system has both auto and manual control modes.
●5. Auto and manual control modes, necessary protection, alarm and other functions are available in each phase.
●6. The mutual filtering can be transformed automatically, no need operator to watch over the operation, it is safe and reliable.
●7. Processing capacity: ≥6000L (adjustable as per the requirement of customer).
●8. Operating vacuum: ≤10-100Pa (adjustable as per the characteristics of product).
●9. Ultimate vacuum: ≤10Pa
●Pressure of oil filling: 0.15MPa±0.01MPa (adjustable).
● Operating temperature of oil: 60±5℃
● Filter fineness: ≤5µm
●Pumping speed of vacuum unit: 2000m3/h
● Pumping speed of oil pump: ≥6m3/h (adjustable as per the requirement of customer).
●Usable capacity of vacuum degassing tank: 6～12 m3 (adjustable as per the requirement of customer). |
